We are way behind - lots and lots to update!!

We have been a little amiss in keeping our blog current. We have had a medical procedure, a couple of track meets, a grandbaby to kiss, love and spoil; in short, we have been very, very busy.

Kohen first: On April 4th Kohen flew in to spend time with us. Oh yea, he brought his parents with him. He got to stay and play with grandma and grandpa till April 12th. He came to help grandma feel better after her little bout with the doctor, and he did a great job in doing so. We thought he was the cutest little guy in the world before he came. Afterward, we knew was the best grandson ever. He has the sweetest personality and disposition and he loves to smile and play.

We really appreciated Stefani and Jer coming along so that Kohen kept them up at night and let us sleep. They also helped take care of Julie while she was recouperating. Stef was irreplacable. But more importantly we, both Julie and I, were incredibly impressed with how good Jer and Stef are as parents. Their little boys will be truly blessed to be a part of their family.

That brings up Julie's medical procedure. It is absolutely incredible what modern science has developed. She had an outpatient alternative to a complete hysterectomy. She went in at 7:00 am Monday, April 7th and Stef and I brought her home at about 1:00pm. She experienced some cramping and discomfort, but nothing like full invasive surgery would have caused. Within a week, she was back to work and she is doing well.

Jeff had a track meet last week in Gooding. As this Spring has progressed, instead of getting warmer, it seems to have started getting colder and colder. There was a nasty, strong, cold wind that just about cut through us. It felt like it was going to snow at any time, but it didn't. I posted his results last week. His shot put was way down, his discus was fairly close to what he threw the week before.

Tomorrow has all the ear-markings to be just as bad, except this one is at Carey. The wind blows more and their ring is terrible. We'll see what happens.

YEAH , I am soo glad Julie is doing well. surgerys are the pits..
Sorry about not making it up there I really was an emotional wreck with this house thing going on. I tend to withdraw myself way too much lately.
I bet you are excited to have another baby boy in the family. It will be soo much fun watching Kohen, Jaxson and the new baby grow up together. Baseball and track meets will be fun!!!

Im so glad that you allowed us to come with Kohen...We are still in what we call the "detox" process of getting Kohen not to want to be held EVERY second of the day. :) He sure misses his nana and papa!!!

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Are you insinuating that we held him all day? We didn't do that, we also fed him, crawled around the house chasing him, played and entertained him, and let him basically do what ever he wanted. Is there a problem with that?
